Amicus (Fastnet Rock - Gold Chant)
brought up the stable�s 100th metropolitan winner of
the season with an emphatic win over 1150m on Wednesday at Royal
Randwick.
Sitting three wide just in behind the leaders
travelling strongly in the running, she simply cruised up
around the leaders and put the race to bed with much ease
between the 300 and 200m mark.
Hugh Bowman gave her
one flick close home as she was still a little bit green in front
and had her ears pricked. Amicus is a big scopey filly who will
be a better three year old so it�s exciting time for her owners
