Patinack Farm would like to congratulate Stratheden Stud on being the first to collect a cheque from the Patinack Farm $1m Breeders� Bonus prize pool.

Judy Marheine was on hand at this weeks Easter Yearling sale where she was presented with a $10,000 cheque from Patinack Farm for having bred Ferment (Husson) who won the MRC Laura Butcher Memorial 2YO. Ferment has since been grouped placed in the Group 3 Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Prelude.

The Patinack $1 Million Breeders� Bonus is a scheme that will see $1 million in bonuses divided between the breeders and owners of metropolitan winners sired by Patinack Farm�s stallions*.

Caballo Rapido

Unbeaten classic-winning Patinack Farm freshman stallion Husson (Hussonet-Villa Elisa, by Roy) recorded his 10th individual Australian 1st-crop winner when 2YO colt Caballo Rapido (Husson-Flying Alice, by Danehill) scored on debut over 1200m at Eagle Farm for trainer David Murphy.

Caballo Rapido was a $45,000 yearling consigned by Heytesbury Stud at the 2011 Magic Millions Perth Sale.

He was bred by Statheden Stud and the mare was sold in foal in 2008.
