Consistent Commands filly Calming Influence blitzed her rivals with a display of sustained speed in Saturdays Become An ATC Sponsor Handicap (1100m) at Rosehill.

Sent straight to the front by Nash Rawiller, Calming Influence defeated Omniscient by 2-1/2 lengths with short-neck back to Holy Delusions in third.

It takes the overall record of Calming Influence to 4 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds from 8 starts for earnings of $270,835.

"Full credit to him, he bounced her out and left no doubt he wanted to lead. Waller said.

"Three-year-old filly against the older mares, its always hard before Christmas, we've only beaten it by a few days.

"Shes very versatile and has brilliant speed. Shell have a little break now before coming back in the late autumn.

"Good filly and great owners, the Marheine family, they've supported me for a long time so its good to see they've got a good one.

Passed-in short of her $110,000 reserve at the 2012 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale, Calming Influence is the sixth foal of the stakes-winning Zeditave mare Calming who was sold by Stratheden Stud for $145,000 at the 2010 Magic Millions Mares sale.

Calming has a 2yo filly by Street Cry (IRE) and foaled a filly by Foxwedge in October after not being covered the previous season.
